Duties include:

- Ensure that safeguarding arrangements meet statutory requirements and good practice
- Keeping relevant policies and procedures under review
- Performing and reviewing a yearly safeguarding audit and monitoring actions that arise.
- Ensuring that pupil records are kept securely
